The Show

The show has established itself as one of the leading agricultural shows in the South-West region. The show offers families a fun day out. There will be numerous events during the day to entertain both adults and children alike. The show hosts a massive  programme for horses and ponies, including 1.35 metre Munster Grand Prix with a prize fund of €2,000. The show jumping classes will commence at 10am with the Grand Prix at 2pm approx.

.
The 3 year old potential event horse class will take place in the sand arena.  This class hopes to identify the best 3 year old colt, gelding or filly to become a future 4* event horse and as usual is a qualifier for the Dublin Horse Show.

Ring 3 is the horse ridden hunter ring starting at 11am. Ring 4 is the working hunter ring commencing at 9am sharp. Ring 5 is the ridden pony showing classes and starts at 10am sharp. Ring 6 is for the family pony classes and will commence at 12 noon. Ring 7 is the dressage arena starting at 9am and ring 8 is for the local mini stakes starting at 2p.m.
