53: Racehorse to Riding Horse, sponsored by Treo Eile
HORSES ➤ RIDING HORSES (Red Mills Champion of Champions Series Qualifier)Fri 13th Jun 2025 - Sun 22nd Jun 2025
Open to THOROUGHBRED, MARES or GELDINGS, 4 years old and over. To be ridden by riders who have attained their 16th birthday by 1 January 2025. Aim: To showcase successful Irish bred or trained racehorses as useful and suitable riding horses. The horses entered in this class should demonstrate quality, substance, bone, correct conformation, presence and true action.
The class may include racehorses of hack, riding horse or hunter types with the best of type being judged the winner. Rules: This class is open to thoroughbred horses only.
This class is open to ‘Irish bred’ horses and / or foreign bred horses that have been trained (for racing) in Ireland for a minimum of 1 year. Rug will be presented to the Winner, Sponsored by: Treo Eile. Participants in this class are eligible for the Showing Ireland Points Award Scheme. 1st & 2nd placed combinations will qualify for our Ridden Horse Championship, with the Champion and Reserve qualifying for Connolly’s RED MILLS Champion of Champions Series Final (in association with Showing Ireland).
